Trade Show Design:
Conexiom
Graphic Designer, Brand Strategy
Project Brief
Conexiom reached out with a rush request: a full set of tradeshow booth graphics needed in just one week. The ask included an 8x8' banner, illuminated table tops, tablecloths, pop-up banners, and an interlocking display tower. With an outdated brand guide and limited visual assets, I quickly developed a refreshed design direction grounded in a strategy session and a few reference pieces. The goal was clear—showcase enterprise-level logistics workers in action, highlighting Conexiom’s software in real-world use.
Strategy
I developed a fresh visual concept centered around glowing, journey-like linework that weaves through images capturing Conexiom’s role in modern enterprise logistics. This new direction refreshed their brand presence while staying grounded in their identity. With quick client sign-off and agile execution, I delivered a cohesive, high-impact booth experience that stood out on the tradeshow floor—all within the one-week deadline. The project not only elevated their visual storytelling, but also reinforced their position as a leader in B2B automation.
The challenges
Brand guide is outdated
The client had a brand guide that they didn’t like, they wanted a new direction.
Assets needed
We needed to source assets that were relevant to the product and aligned to competitors within the industry.
Short on time
Only ten days to create a new brand direction and create all the assets.
The idea
Source imagery that tells the brand story:
End-users scanning and referencing inventory in an enterprise setting.
Add assets that add interest and relevancy:
Design a neon glow that flows through the assets, relaying connection and technology.
Bring it all together:
The neon glow weaves through the image subject and background, reflecting off the clothes and face. Edit the photo assets to align closer to the brand’s colour palette.
